March 18, 2013 - James Seevakumaran amassed hundreds of rounds of ammunition and an assault rifle along with hand guns and four explosive devices which he planned to use in a mass murder on the campus of the University of Central Florida.  Seevakumaran pulled the fire alarm to draw people outside of his dorm so he could begin shooting but when he pointed a gun at his roommate, the roommate locked himself in the bathroom and called the police.  Seevakumaran apparently decided to end his life in the dorm room rather than continue with the assault.
