On February 7, 2009, Dar Foley was found shot to death in the bathroom of her home here.  Her husband, Tom Foley, was tried and convicted of the murder but before sentencing new witnesses came forward to say they had seen unknown cars at the home and a new trial was granted.  Tom Foley was found not guilty after the second trial.  The murderer has never been found.
