Jame Earl Ray (under the name of Eric Galt) purchased a Remington Gamemaster .243 caliber from the Aeromarine Supply Company formerly located here.  He exchanged the rifle for a Gamemaster 760 which he eventually killed Martin Luther King Jr. with.  The store was located 5701 Airport Highway which is near this location but the precise location needs to be found.
