Vulcan's Thumb

Vulcan's Thumb

Vulcan's Thumb is a deeply dissected, unstable stratovolcano located directly on the southern ridge of Pyroclastic Peak. It is one of the five main volcanic peaks of the Mount Cayley massif and remains unclimbed because of technical difficulties and its loose rock. Vulcan's Thumb is believed to have last erupted during the Pleistocene period.[1]
