Comments

The Indians and Mexicans primarily made their stand in St. Jerome Mission near the Taos Pueblo.  The mission was bombarded with cannon but the clay was too soft and the cannonball were absorbed.  Eventually the Americans broke through the walls and slaughtered the men inside.
