The Honeymoon Mine is Australia's fourth uranium mine and Australia's second operating in-situ recovery mine and began production in 2011. The Honeymoon mine is owned by JSC Atomenergoprom, a subsidiary of Rosatom State Atomic Energy Corporation. The uranium deposit belongs to the palaeochannel type.
