On May 17, 2015, in Waco, Texas, a shootout erupted at a Twin Peaks restaurant among as many as five rival outlaw motorcycle clubs, including the Bandidos Motorcycle Club, the Cossacks and the Scimitars. It killed nine people and injured eighteen others.[3][4] It was the most high-profile and deadliest criminal event in the Waco area since the Waco siege of the Branch Davidian compound in 1993.[5]
