Spanish conquistador items

The crossbow (about 17th century) was made in England but used in the New World, the shield with coat of arms (about 17th century) was typcial of those carried by the Spanish conquistadors, and the cuirass and helmet (about 15th century) were also typical of those carried by Spanish conquistadors. 6/22/2012 12:54:03 PM

The Peabody Museum of Archaeology and Ethnology is located on the campus of Harvard University and consists of three floors. The first floor is related to Native American cultures, the third emphasizes Latin American cultures, and the fourth floor is dedicated to Pacific Island cultures.
