Description

The belfry of Bethune is a monument as part of the heritage of Bethune . First built in 1346, rebuilt in 1388, it was classified a historic monument in 1862 1 . It is one of 23 belfries which were classified world heritage of the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) in 2005 in the list of " belfries of Belgium and France ".
