The Briançon Castle is an ancient castle , the ix th century, the center of the Lordship of Briançon, elevated to Viscount the xvi th century and of marquis in 1680, the remains of which stand, in Notre-Dame-de -Briançon, in the municipality of La Léchère in the department of Savoie region Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes .
