The Château de Bassoues dates from the last quarter of the 14th century. The property of the commune, it has been listed as a monument historique since 1840. It was built by Arnaud Aubert, who became Archbishop of Auch in 1361. The accounts for the year 1370-71 of Raymond Sans, treasurer of Auch, detail the building of the castle.
