The Imperial Castle of Kyffhausen (German: Reichsburg Kyffhausen) is a medieval castle ruin in the Kyffhäuser hills on the Kyffhäuserburgberg, a summit 439.7 m above sea level (NN). It lies in the parish of Steinthaleben in the municipality of Kyffhäuserland, not far from the town of Bad Frankenhausen in the county of Kyffhäuserkreis, in the German state of Thuringia, near its border with Saxony-Anhalt.
