Comments

There are abundant concretions (iron-oxide cemented) with both spheroidal and pipe shapes.  Loope et al describe them as "altered remains of dense siderite concretions".  Alteration of the siderite was mediated by iron-oxidizing microbes.  Stop 2-1 of Loope et.
