Hajee Mohammad Danesh Science and Technology University (Bengali: হাজী মোহাম্মদ দানেশ বিজ্ঞান ও প্রযুক্তি বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়) (HSTU) is a government-financed Public University of Bangladesh.Hajee Mohammad Danesh Science & Technology University is the first Science and Technology University in the northern region & The second oldest Science and Technology University of Bangladesh. It stands away from the urban Dinajpur and bustle at a beautiful and scenic location about 9km north of Dinajpur town by the side of the intercity highway at a place known as Basherhat that links Dinajpur to Dhaka, the capital of Bangladesh. Locally it is known as Hajee Danesh University. A sports school named BKSP (Dinajpur) which was also established by the government of Bangladesh is situated beside the campus.
