Notre Dame University Bangladesh

Notre Dame University Bangladesh or NDUB (Bengali: নটর ডেম বিশ্ববিদ্যালয় বাংলাদেশ) is one of the premier private universities of Bangladesh. Located in Motijheel, Dhaka, this nonprofit university was founded by the Congregation of Holy Cross in 2013 with a view to promote optimism and peace by providing comprehensive education.^[2] After receiving approval from the Ministry of Education, the People’s Republic of Bangladesh, and University Grants Commission (UGC), Notre Dame University Bangladesh commenced its academic activities in the fall of 2014.^[3] The constituting values of the university are described to be pursuit of truth, rational thinking, respect for human dignity, non-violence, social responsibility, commitment to human development, solidarity, justice, peace and charity, gender equality, global unity and respect for the Creation.^[1]
