Description

The Ems Castle (also known as Bad Ems Castle ) was a Roman border fortification of the Upper Germanic Limes , which has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2005 . The numerus fort is today as a ground monument in a densely covered since the Middle Ages area of Bad Ems , a city in Rhineland-Palatinate Rhein-Lahn-Kreis . It is the larger of the two Roman Auxiliary camps on Emser Stadtgebiet.
