The thermal springs could be located northwest of the fort, between the latter and the Limes, not far from the source of the Hasenbach, which probably supplied the thermal springs with water. They were examined in 1882 by Cohausen and later by the Commission, but in both cases could not be systematically excavated for lack of necessary funds. While only the course of the fortress-facing outer wall was investigated by the RLK, Cohausen had been able to investigate at least part of the building complex. The architectural form with apses and the high amount of Tegulae (bricks) found in this part of the building suggest that this part of the building is the Caldarium (Warmbad) and theTepidarium (Laubad) could act.
