Small Roman fort Maisel

Description

The small fort Maisel (in the older literature sometimes also counted as watchtower Wp 3/39) was a Roman fort on the western Taunusstrecke (route 3) of the Upper Germanic Limes , which in 2005 acquired the status of UNESCO World Heritage . The Obertägig not perceptible Bodendenkmal is located northwest of Glashütten , a community in the Hessian Hochtaunuskreis .
