Description

The small fort Ockstädter Wald was a Roman fort on the Western Wetteraustrecke (route 4) of the Upper Germanic Limes , which in 2005 acquired the status of a UNESCO World Heritage Site . The today's Bodendenkmal , of which still terrain deformations are to be recognized in the soil, is southeast of Pfaffenwiesbach , a part of the municipality Wehrheim in the Hessian high taunus circle . Maybe it was a predecessor of the nearby castle Kapersburg .
