Small Roman fort Eichkopf

Description

The small fort "Am Eichkopf" was a Roman fort in the eastern Taunus and was part of the Upper Germanic Limes , which was awarded the status of a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2005 . Today's Bodendenkmal is located south of Langenhain-Ziegenberg , district Ober-Mörlen in the Hessian Wetteraukreis on the northern foothills of Eichkopf on the edge of a former military training area.
