Small Roman fort Feldheimer Wald

Description

The small fort Feldheimer Wald was a Roman border fort at the northern Wetteraustrecke of the Upper Germanic Limes , which in 2005 acquired the status of a UNESCO World Heritage Site . The Bodendenkmal still recognizable by its Bodenverformungen in the area is west of Hungen , a city in the district Gießen in Hessen .
