Description

The castle Rückingen (also fort Alteburg or Altenburg ) was a Roman fort at Rückingen, a district of Erlensee in the Main-Kinzig-Kreis . The fort is located on the Wetteraulinie of the Upper German-Raetian Limes , which has the status of UNESCO World Heritage since 2005 .
