Small Roman fort Unterböbingen

Description

The castle Unterböbingen is a former Roman garrison , whose remains are today in the east of the municipality of Böbingen on the Rems in Ostalbkreis in Baden-Württemberg . The cohort camp was built near the Rems south bank to secure the nearby Rhaetian Limes , which was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2005 .
