Full Sail University is a private, for-profit university in Winter Park, Florida.[4] It was formerly a recording studio in Ohio named Full Sail Productions[5] and Full Sail Center for the Recording Arts.[6] Full Sail moved to Florida in 1980,[7] running video and film production courses. It began offering online degrees in 2007.[8] The school is partly owned by TA Associates, a private equity firm.[9]
