Álvaro Colom Caballeros (Spanish:[ˈalβaɾokoˈlon]; 15 June 1951 – 23 January 2023) was a Guatemalan engineer, businessman and politician who served as the President of Guatemala from 2008 to 2012, as well as leader of the political party, National Unity of Hope (UNE).
