The Walldürn Castle was a Roman military camp on the so-called "Front Limes" of the Upper German-Rhaetian Limes and is a UNESCO World Heritage Site . Its remains are also considered an archaeological monument and are now under a meadow used as a meadow southeast of the city of Walldürn Baden-Württemberg in the Neckar-Odenwald circle . In particular the studies on a section of the castellated camp village ( Vicus ) excavated with modern methodsBut also the excavations at the military bath brought the Limes research important insights. Especially the building inscription and the issues arising from the castle bath have been dealing with international science for generations.
