Small Roman fort Kaisergrube

Description

The Kleinkastell Kaisergrube was a Roman fort of the Upper Germanic Limes , which was awarded the status of UNESCO World Cultural Heritage in 2005 . The Bodendenkmal , of which today only terrain deformations are to be recognized in the soil, is located in the western part of the Wetterau, east of Friedrichsthal , a district of the municipality Wehrheim in the Hessian Hochtaunuskreis .
