Dwight D. Eisenhower

Dwight David Eisenhower (prononcé [ˈaɪzənhaʊər]), surnommé « Ike », né le 14 octobre 1890 à Denison (Texas) et mort le 28 mars 1969 à Washington, D.C., est un militaire et homme d'État américain membre du Parti républicain, 34^e président des États-Unis pour deux mandats, du 20 janvier 1953 au 20 janvier 1961. Durant la Seconde Guerre mondiale, il est General of the Army et commandant en chef du Supreme Headquarters Allied Expeditionary Force.
