Hyde Hall Bridge

Hyde Hall Bridge is a wooden covered bridge built in 1823 on then-private property of Hyde Hall, a country mansion. Both are now included in Glimmerglass State Park. It is the oldest surviving bridge in New York State. It is the oldest covered bridge in the United States. However, this distinction is also claimed for the Hassenplug Bridge in Pennsylvania.
