Widerøe Flight 933, also known as the Mehamn Accident (Norwegian: Mehamn-ulykken), was a crash of a Widerøe-operated de Havilland Canada DHC-6 Twin Otter into the Barents Sea off Gamvik, Norway. The incident occurred on 11 March 1982 at 13:27 and killed all fifteen people on board. Four official investigations have concluded that the accident was caused by structural failure in the vertical stabilizer and rudder during clear-air turbulence.
