Merpati Nusantara Airlines Flight 9760

Merpati Nusantara Airlines Flight 9760 was a commercial flight between Jayapura and Oksibil in Indonesia operated by a de Havilland Canada DHC-6 Twin Otter 300 on August 2, 2009. The aircraft went missing en route^[2] and its wreckage was found a few miles from Oksibil two days later.^[3] All 13 passengers and 3 crew members were killed in the accident. All of the passengers were of Indonesian nationality.
