The Franklin courthouse here is where Christ Koulis was convicted of criminally negligent homicide in the death of Lesa Buchanon on the July 4th weekend in 2005.  She died of a drug overdose in her Cool Springs apartment in Franklin. Koulis was sentenced to two years but was released pending his appeal.  Koulis died of an accidental overdoes in 2010 waiting for the appeal.
