Tamanthi Wildlife Reserve is a wildlife reserve of Burma (Myanmar). It was established on April 11, 1974 on the eastern bank of the Chindwin River, across from the town of Tamanthi. It lies within the Hkamti District of Sagaing Region, and covers 830.40 sq mi (2,150.7 km),[2] bounded between the Uyu and Chindwin rivers with 230.40 sq mi (596.7 km2) of the area in Homalin Township, and 600 sq mi (1,600 km2) in Hkamti Township.
