Mike and Cynthia McLelland were murdered here in their home on March 30, 2013. Mike McLelland was the Kaufman County District Attorney. McLelland worked in the same office with assistant district attorney Mark Hasse who was gunned down in the parking lot near his office on January 31, 2013.
