On June 13, 2007, Teresa Mayfield was shot in the head in her car.  The car and her body were found the next day parked along Highway County Rd 21 (location is along this highway)  near her home on Duncan Loop Road.  She was heading north toward Sam's club in Moundville (the precise location where her body was found needs to be updated).  Her husband was later convicted of murder.  He paid Kimberly Binion to kill his wife. Binion was also convicted of the murder.
