The Donlin Gold Project is a large, undeveloped, refractory gold deposit located 19 km north of Crooked Creek, Alaska on the Kuskokwim River, about 450 kilometres northwest of Anchorage. The deposit has proven and probable reserves estimated at 33.9 million ounces of gold at 2.1 g/t and could produce up to 1.5 million ounces annually.[2]
