Ahmet Yesevi University (Turkish: Ahmet Yesevi Üniversitesi) is a university in the city of Turkistan in Kazakhstan, named for the twelfth-century Sufi poet Khoja Akhmet Yassawi. Established in 1993, it has around 20,000 students, of whom around 10% are from Turkey. The Ahmet Yesevi University Medical Centre Hospital operates on the university's main campus in Turkistan.[1]
