On December 20, 2007, around 5:00 a.m., three men invaded the museum and took two paintings, considered to be among the most valuable of the museum: O lavrador de café,[13] by Cândido Portinari, and thePortrait of Suzanne Bloch by Pablo Picasso. The whole action took about three minutes.
