The Cave of the Patriarchs or the Cave of Machpelah (Hebrew: מערת המכפלה, 
Me'arat ha-Machpela (help·info), trans. "cave of the double tombs") is a term from the Hebrew Bible, and is known by Muslims as the Sanctuary of Abraham or the Ibrahimi Mosque (Arabic: الحرم الإبراهيمي, Al-Haram Al-Ibrahimi (help·info)).
