The Erechtheion is a marble temple just north of the Parthenon on the ancient fortress of the Acropolis. It was built between 422 and 405 B.C and was dedicated to a legendary hero named Erechtheion.

The Erechtheion (Greek: Ἐρέχθειον) is an ancient Greek temple on the north side of the Acropolis of Athens in Greece.
