On November 27, 2015, a shooting and five-hour stand-off with police occurred at a Planned Parenthood clinic in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Three people were killed, including a University of Colorado police officer and two civilians.[4] The suspected shooter, identified as Robert Lewis Dear[2], was captured alive after police convinced him to surrender.[3]
