The Laurel Museum is a mill workers' home that was built by Horace Capron between 1836 and 1840, restored by the City of Laurel, Maryland, and opened to the public on May 1, 1996. Located on the northeast corner of 9th and Main Streets, the museum features exhibits that highlight the history of Laurel and its citizens. A gift shop is available and museum admission is free.[1]
