Friendship Hill National Historic Site

Friendship Hill National Historic Site, maintained by the National Park Service, was the home of early American politician and statesman Albert Gallatin, a US Congressman, the longest-serving Secretary of Treasury under two presidents, and ambassador to France and Great Britain. It overlooks the Monongahela River near Point Marion, Fayette County, Pennsylvania, about 50 miles (80 km) south of Pittsburgh.
