Description

The Paléosite is a museum area and an interpretation center of the prehistoric located in the town of Saint-Césaire , 10 kilometers east of Saintes and 15 km west of Cognac , in Charente-Maritime , and Is located near the archaeological site of La Roche à Pierrot, where a Neanderthal skeleton was discovered in 1979, named "Pierrette".
