Ute Mountain volcano (northwest flank on Rio Grande)

The stop is on the northwest flank of the Ute Mountain volcano.  Ute Mountain is a dacitic volcano that dates to 3.9 Ma.  It is aligned with the Gorge and Mesita fault zone.  Stop 5 of Ruleman et al.
