Tampu Mach'ay (Quechua tampu inn, guest house, mach'ay cave,[2] "guest house cave", also spelled Tambo Mach'ay, Tambomachay, Tambomach'ay, Tampumachay, Tanpumachay, where machay means "drunkenness", "to get drunk" or "a spindle packed with thread")[1][2] is an archaeological site associated with the Inca Empire, located near Cusco, Peru. An alternate Spanish name is El Baño del Inca ("the bath of the Inca").
