The sinkhole opened up on July 15, 2017 swallowing one home completely and partially taking in another home (the site here is the home that was completely destroyed). No one was in the home when it went under and an older women was rescued from the home that was partially swallowed. The home that was completely lost sat on top of a 50 foot deep cavern - the home had been braced in the past.
