Cave of Pindal

Description

The cave Pindal is a cave prehistoric northern Spain , which is situated in the vicinity of the town of Pimiango (council of Ribadedeva ), at the eastern end of the Principality of Asturias . It has a linear plant in which two sectors are distinguished: the oriental, open to the public, and the western, with restricted access. This cave has some cave paintings already known since 1908 . It is included in the list of World Heritage of Unesco since July 2008 , within the site "Cave of Altamira and Paleolithic Cave Art of Northern Spain " (inEnglish , Cave of Altamira and Paleolithic Cave Art of Northern Spain ). 2 addition is declared as cultural interest (RI-51-0000271)since April 25, 1924. 3
