Cluster University of Jammu

Cluster University of Jammu is a collegiate State university, located in Jammu in the state of Jammu and Kashmir. It is a cluster of five colleges of the Jammu city. It has been established under The Srinagar and Jammu Cluster Universities Act, 2016 together with Cluster University of Srinagar and is an initiative of the centrally sponsored scheme, Rashtriya Uchchatar Shiksha Abhiyan (RUSA), to create new universities through upgradation of existing colleges and conversion of colleges in a cluster.^[2] Both universities were inaugurated by Minister of Human Resource Development, Government of India Prakash Javadekar on 17 April 2017.^[3]
