Small Roman fort Ferbach

Description

The small fort Ferbach (in the older literature in the spelling Castell Fehrbach [1] occurring) was a Roman fort of the Upper Germanic Limes , which in 2005 acquired the status of UNESCO World Heritage . The current Bodendenkmal is located in a border on the southeastern edge of today's town Höhr-Grenzhausen in the Rhineland-Palatinate Westerwaldkreis . With the largest part of its area it is already in the area of ​​the local community Weitersburg in the district Mayen-Koblenz .
